The last of the thirty, and one of only four retailers here whose consent gate collects nothing while you decide.
How many clicks to find the privacy policy from the homepage?
One click, from the footer. “Privacy Policies” opens as a web page, last updated 31 July 2024, which is old but dated and in one piece.
Is there a meaningful choice about cookies and tracking before data is collected?
Reject All beside Accept All, and nothing running behind it. Three buttons on the banner: “Customize”, “Reject All” and “Accept All”. Refusing is one click at the same size as agreeing, with category control beside it, and only the fill colour separates them. What confirms it is the load: two cookies on arrival and not one tracker, so the gate is not decoration. Only Reitmans, RW&CO and Home Hardware manage the same, and none of those offers a one-click refusal as well.
How hard is the policy to read, how much of it is there, and can you get it in one piece?
Grade 12.6 across 4,849 words, in one place. Difficulty 1, length 3, access 4. Middling prose at a manageable length. Measure it yourself.
How many clicks to reach data settings, and can you delete your account yourself?
A privacy officer named for the job. ResponsableAccess@structube.com is published in the policy, which is the Quebec access-to-information role written into an address. There is no request form and nothing self-serve.
Find the support page. How many clicks, and is there a way to speak to a human?
Contact Us in the top navigation. Not the footer, the header, with 1-877-721-3787 published on the page.
Overall finding
17 out of 20 Trust-aware
Structube was the last brand of the thirty and the hardest to reach, because it refuses connections from outside Canada entirely. What it turns out to be is one of the better consent records in the index: a one-click refusal, category control beside it, and a first load that sets nothing at all. It is a Quebec company, and Law 25 is the most plausible reason a furniture retailer has a better gate than most Canadian banks. The policy behind it has not been touched since July 2024.
