17 out of 20 Trust-aware

Names its 77 advertising partners, offers a one-click Reject All, and then will not let you speak to anyone.

Transparency, Consent, Clarity, Control, Empathy · clockwise from the top
01
Transparency 4 / 4

How many clicks to find the privacy policy from the homepage?

One click, from the footer. Opens as a web page, last modified 30 September 2025, with a separate cookies policy beside it.

02
Consent 4 / 4

Is there a meaningful choice about cookies and tracking before data is collected?

Reject All, the same size as Accept All. A modal, not a strip: “Customize Choices”, “Reject All” and “Accept All”, with the two decisions styled identically and refusing costing one click. It also does something no other banner in this index does, which is tell you the size of the arrangement: “We currently work with 77 partners”, with the vendor list linked, and the purposes spelled out including precise geolocation and device scanning. Naming the number is uncomfortable and it is the honest thing to do.

03
Clarity 3 / 4

How hard is the policy to read, how much of it is there, and can you get it in one piece?

Grade 13.6 across 4,077 words, in one place. Difficulty 1, length 3, access 4. Middling prose at a manageable length, which for a global streaming platform is better than the norm. Measure it yourself.

04
Control 4 / 4

How many clicks to reach data settings, and can you delete your account yourself?

A rights portal, two clicks from the front door. The policy links a Data Subject Rights Portal for access and deletion, reachable without an account, alongside a separate privacy controls hub for tracking and advertising.

05
Empathy 2 / 4

Find the support page. How many clicks, and is there a way to speak to a human?

A help centre with no way through it. Logged out, the help centre is a search box and a list of articles. No phone number, no chat, no support address is offered anywhere until you sign in.

Overall finding

17 out of 20 Trust-aware

Disney+ has the strongest consent gate of any streaming service here, second only to Couche-Tard across the whole index, and it is attached to the weakest support experience of the five. The banner refuses in one click and admits to 77 partners; the help centre will not put a person in front of you at all. Both facts come from the same company deciding what a customer is owed, which makes the pairing hard to read as anything but deliberate.
